Biography
Biologist by training and naturalist at heart, Benjamin has worked extensively with the University of Laval in the field of landscape ecology. During his free time he travels around the world to discover new ecosystems and new countries. “I like to understand the connections between living things and the elements around me when I explore a country.” A few years ago on a bicycle trip across Iceland, Benjamin met an adventure guide at a campsite and realised this was his ideal profession. “When I saw his set-up of the van with the trailer, tents, kitchen, and his group of travelers, I immediately understood that this job was made for me. Before this experience, I didn’t think that such an incredible profession could exist.”
What Benjamin loves more about being a guide? Meeting people from many different backgrounds, leading them on a unique journey and witnessing how happy and grateful they are to be in such a beautiful environment. He loves cooking good meals and sharing with his guests his knowledge of the natural world in the most beautiful classroom of all: nature!
