Meet our guides
At the front of every Windigo adventure is a deeply passionate, experienced, and enthusiastic human! In the field as well as in the city, our guides are much more than companions: they are adventure leaders, atmosphere creators, and pillars of safety, trained to adapt to every group and every situation. Attentive, committed, and authentic, they give each journey its own unique character — the kind that quickly turns a group of travelers into a close knit family.

I love the Canadian Rockies; it’s a magical place with so much to do. Guiding is a true passion for me. Seeing my guests having their best time in an amazing landscape is why I love this job!

Benjamin
I am a trained biologist and nature lover. For the past 10 years, I have been guiding groups in Canada and the USA. I love offering them a unique travel experience, cooking them delicious meals, and sharing my ecology knowledge with them.

I am an adventurer and outdoor guide with a deep love for the Canadian Rockies. With experience guiding hiking and camping trips as well as working with groups across Alberta, British Columbia, and Quebec, I enjoy creating meaningful experiences rooted in human connection, movement, and nature.

Morgane
Having been an outdoor guide in Canada for the past three years, the Rockies are my favorite playground because of their landscapes and history. I love guiding because it allows me to give meaning to places, create unique experiences, and inspire people to go further.
Benjamin
As an adventure guide for the past four years, I live my passion for hiking and the mountains every day. My favorite place is undoubtedly Kananaskis Country, a region of pure nature. I love sharing this passion and helping those who accompany me discover the beauty of the great outdoors.

Richard
Nearly 30 years ago I moved to the Canadian Rockies for the alpine climbing, skiing, and hiking. I stayed because the scenery is decent and I fell in love. I spend my days exploring trails, photographing big landscapes, and sharing stories. My goal? To send guests home with happy feet, great photos, and at least one fact they can casually drop at dinner parties.
Dori
After a lengthy and enjoyable global corporate career, the founding of a Vermont maple company and raising three awesome kids, my MO is to never sit in front of a computer again. Favourite destination is anywhere in the mountains. Passionate about cycling, hiking, backcountry skiing, and my homeland Canada, I wear my Plein Air passion on my sleeve.

Isabel
Life is about finding your passion, and I found mine guiding in the mountains. For me, guiding is not just a job — it’s a lifestyle, and for over 10 years the Canadian Rockies have been my home and favorite place to create meaningful adventures and lifelong memories for others. It’s there that I feel most inspired and truly rewarded
Carl
I combine a lifelong love for outdoor exploration, a diverse professional background, and a passion for travel, to offer a truly one-of-a-kind personalized guided experience. For me, guiding is the ultimate way to share the magic of my favorite places and food in Canada, while creating lifelong memories and meaningful connections between people and the world around them.
