        Day 2 \u2013 Skagway<\/p>\n

        This charming village\u2014bustling in summer thanks to cruise ships\u2014transports you back to the Gold Rush era along its seven-block historic Broadway corridor. Wooden boardwalks, restored buildings, and local shops create a unique frontier atmosphere. Located on the traditional territory of the Tlingit people, Shgag\u0331w\u00e9i means \u201crough waters,\u201d referring to the waves created by strong winds.         Days 3 & 4 \u2013 Haines<\/p>\n

        A small town in southeast Alaska, Haines is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, abundant wildlife\u2014especially bald eagles\u2014and brown bears fishing for salmon in the Chilkoot River. Deeply rooted in Tlingit culture, it is closely connected to the village of Klukwan, the ancestral home of the Chilkat people.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/li>\n

        Day 5, 6 & 7 \u2013 Kluane National Park<\/p>\n

        Kluane National Park protects a spectacular landscape in southwestern Yukon and includes 17 of Canada\u2019s 20 highest peaks. Expect dramatic mountain ranges, boreal forests, shimmering lakes, massive glacial cirques including one of the world\u2019s largest non-polar icefields, and a rich cultural heritage tied to the Southern Tutchone. Wildlife sightings are common\u2014especially Dall sheep.         Day 8 \u2013 Tok<\/p>\n

        Arriving via the Alaska\u2013Canada Highway, Tok is the first town you encounter in Alaska, home to around 1,400 residents.
