carte-Winter Explorer Tour – Multi Activity

The majestic Saguenay Fjord meanders its way through Quebec’s boreal forests, ending abruptly at steep, rocky cliffs, before spilling into the Saint Lawrence River. Though located just a few hours from Quebec City, every winter the biting cold, snow, and freezing fjord isolate the villages located across the region.  Communities come together to face the harsh winter ahead by warmly welcoming travellers adventuring through their frozen realm. Trappers, poets, mushers… these lively locals you’ll meet along the way will leave a lasting impression.  Enjoy as residents take your on a journey through their native Saguenay, via snowmobile, on a dogsled, or strapped to a pair of snowshoes.  As you traipse across the frozen fjord, be amazed by the region’s vivid sunsets, snow-capped evergreens, and late nights around campfires under a blanket of stars.
